• 1944 - Founded The Hattenbach Company in Cleveland, Ohio by Harry Hattenbach, Sr.
  • 1950s & 1960s - Grocery stores began to evolve into supermarkets. The family's second generation of ownership begins as Harry A. Hattenbach, Jr. becomes President.
  • 1970s & 1980s - Hattenbach expands HVAC system installation into shopping centers, strip malls, office buildings, industrial plants, and food processing plants. During the decade, work was split evenly between HVAC and refrigeration.
  • 1990s - Hattenbach operates a 60,000 square foot facility and is a multifaceted firm employing 65 skilled staff members. Hattenbach becomes the "do-it-all" contractor.
  • 2000s - Customers continue to recognize the benefits of working with a contractor like Hattenbach, where flexible and creative individuals get the job done right the first time.
